By communicating through a visual language based on images taken from her memories and dreams, Catalina Viejo Lopez de Roda examines the ambiguities present in self-perception and human relationships. She thinks of her paintings not as images of a static moment but as an evolving series of events. Her paintings reveal psychological and experiential depths that both invite and defy the viewer to become an element of the work.
Her 2015 solo exhibition “a view of the end” at SHAG, Brooklyn, NY was covered internationally by various publications including the New York Post, The Daily Mail of London, El Universal of Mexico, and Vanity Fair Italia. Viejo Lopez de Roda also participated in the exhibition Wide Open 6 in BWAC, Brooklyn, NY in which she was awarded Best in Show Gold by Rujeko Hockley, Assistant Curator at the Brooklyn Art Museum.
Born in Malaga, Spain, Catalina Viejo Lopez de Roda currently lives and works in Hudson, New York. She holds a BFA from Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, MA (2005) and an MFA from Hunter College in New York City, NY (2014).

Daniela Pasqualini is an internationally collected Italian artist living and painting in Boston, MA.
She creates modern abstract painting with rich, vibrant colors and texture. She works with acrylic, mixed media and oil on canvas. She gives the viewer of her artwork a unique and emotional experience allowing for a connection to be made between the artwork and their own emotions.
She has participated in multiple juried exhibitions in MA and NH and have taken home honors from these exhibitions.
In addition, she was recently in multiple exhibitions in Rome, Milan, Florence and the Vatican itself for the Jubilee 2016.
Born and raised in Toronto Ontario, Evelisa has had a long-standing relationship with art as her tool to communicate both spiritual and political voice. A committed policy advisor, educator, and indigenous rights advocate, her relationship to art has evolved over the years; at first keeping her art separate and distinct from her political and professional life. As she moves further into meaningful indigenous ally-ship and increasing the public’s political awareness for the benefit of all, her art practice has moved from the sidelines of her life to the centre of her life; being a part of her identity that enables her to make connections with people and place, and to understand her own self and voice better.
In Ontario, Canada, Evelisa currently works as a Negotiations Analyst finding complex solutions to land claim grievances from Indigenous Nations and finding solutions to Treaty-based issues. She is the founder of a reconciliation-based art program at the Six Nations reserve that brings indigenous and non-indigenous young people together to learn high-caliber artistic skills from professional artists across the reserve, while also building good relationships with neighbours.
Greg’s nontraditional path to art through a doctorate in neuroscience arms him with an outsider's perspective and gives him the freedom to introduce imagery and concepts derived from a different world than is traditionally encountered in fine art. My work is neo-naturalist, an expansion of art based on natural form through addressing scientific advancements that have allowed humans to perceive the universe beyond our senses. Neonaturalism harmonizes the unfamiliar territory of scientific imagery and techniques with an experimental artistic scaffolding, declaring for example that the fractal forms of nature are consistent across scale, that the neural character of the brain fits seamlessly into the established realm of Asian aesthetics, that landscapes of the microscopic world are fundamentally equivalent to landscapes of the macroscopic world. Neonaturalism fuses the worlds of concept and aesthetics, chaos and order, art and data. It visually, conceptually, and technologically brings the scientific method into design and technique to produce pieces that demonstrate surprising and sometimes beautifully abstract notions about the unseen while commenting on the common foundations of art and science in communicating human experience. Neonaturalism translates the perpetual stream of inspiration at the cutting edge of science into visceral artistic form to portray the immense beauty that pervades all corners of the universe.
Reality presents itself in a multitude of colors, textures, and forms, as does art. Art is not defined by a singular point of view and the meaning of one work will never be a carbon copy reflected in another work. Isabel does not limit her art to one subject, style, or source of inspiration, however she does implement the use of color, texture and iridescent accents.
Isabel's work explores human nature, emotion, and energy through color and motion. She allows her process to be very organic, beginning with one element of the painting whether it is medium, color, subject or image, and allowing the rest to follow. This organic process allows the painting to fully embody what energy it was created with or intended to portray.
Katie thinks a lot about internal and external spaces and her presence and impact on these environments. As creators we are each a liaison between the abstract nature of human consciousness and the daily encounters of our tangible world. Being in this infinitive space of introspection and awareness is where Katie finds truth and potential. Through the process of painting lies a place where she is able to project a state of mind that is fluid, reactive and honest. She is trying to create a moment of undeniable truth, one that uses abstract art as both a means of escapism and extractions for her viewer. She is asking her viewer to be present in the moment of its visceral viewing because that’s all that is true.
Katie Wild is an artist living in Rhode Island whose figurative works push the boundaries of traditional painting with mixed media installations and innovative surfaces. Wild graduated in 2012 from UConn with a BFA in painting and illustration and a BA in English. Next, she completed a post-baccalaureate year at SMFA, followed by an MFA in painting at UMass Dartmouth. Since earning her Masters in 2015, she has received a grant from the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation, an artist residency at CAC Woodside, and an artist residency at the Vermont Studio Center. Wild has also taught at UMass Dartmouth, MassArt, CCRI and BHCC and continues to teach. Her work has been shown in various group, invitation-only, and solo exhibitions, and is currently represented by the Abigail Ogilvy Gallery in Boston, MA.
Originally starting his photography career at Fringe in Somerville, Keena now splits his time between the mountains of Golden, CO and the shores of Oakland, CA. Living life to the fullest and never giving in to popular demand, Keena proves that even the simplest images can hold the most powerful of meanings.
Between exploring the infinite roads between the east coast and west coast and traveling for work, he's on a mission to find new adventures and people to share them with. It's in the unknowns that we live the stories worth capturing.
Kevin Lucey lives and works in Beverly, Massachusetts. He holds a BFA with a concentration in Painting from Montserrat College of Art. Lucey has exhibited throughout New England, especially along the North Shore. His mixed media paintings reveal a number of hidden messages that exist underneath layers of repetitive mark making. Thousands of painted dots and dashes bury collage material to allow for a variety of irregularities and shifts in a seemingly all-over pattern.
Mia Cross is a figurative painter and sculptor who works from her studio in Framingham, MA. She graduated from Boston University's College of Fine Arts in 2014, where she double majored in painting and sculpture. Since completing her degree, Cross has participated in an artist residency in New York, and has shown in a variety of galleries and museums. This year Mia received the Emerging Artist Award at the Danforth Art Annual; a Juror's Award for her work in Framework at the Arsenal Center for the Arts; and was honored to receive a Blanche E. Colman Grant. Later this year, Cross will participate as a Goetemann resident in the historic artist colony of Rocky Neck in Gloucester, Massachusetts. She is currently represented by 13Forest Gallery in Arlington, MA.

By day, Nessa manages a cognitive neuroscience lab at NYU. When she’s not studying the brain, she’s exploring different mediums through which she can investigate and express how our experiences shape the way we perceive the world around us. Her artwork has been featured in Scientific American Mind, where she is a regular contributor.

Laia Albaladejo aka Nineta is a Barcelona street artist and visual artist working with drawing, painting, sculpture and public art. Nineta's work investigates themes of identity, relationships, and feelings like frustration, desire, and freedom... In her work, she utilizes a myriad of ready-made objects, collage, mannequins, bowling pins, spray paint and large scale murals. Her illustrative, interactive figures have plunged through the street art scene in various European cities like Barcelona, Berlin, Rome, and Amsterdam and also around the United States and Jamaica.
Nineta currently works as an Illustrator and Graphic Designer in the greater Boston area.
Rachel Tine is a Boston based self-taught photographer with a degree in psychology, who aims to utilize art to fund and inspire positive social change. He is a contemporary realist figurative painter living in Salem, Massachusetts, just north of Boston. Having taken some classes with renowned artist, Gary Hoffman, of the Boston Guild, he is primarily a self taught artist. He did not fall into painting, and would not use the words "inspired to paint". He creates because that is the life that chose him many many years ago as a child. He thinks it easier to describe a painting, than to describe oneself in painting!
